Arridah Foundation Distributes Hundreds of Sallah Food Packages to Vulnerable Residents

In the spirit of compassion and support during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, Arridah Relief Foundation has distributed over 250 bags of food items to vulnerable persons and people living with disabilities across different communities in Kaduna State.

The distribution, which comes at a time of rising food prices and economic hardship in Nigeria, was led by the National President of the foundation, Ambassador Mamman Salima Sani. She said the gesture forms part of the organization’s annual humanitarian outreach aimed at putting smiles on the faces of struggling families during festive periods.

According to her, many vulnerable households are finding it difficult to afford basic food items due to the current economic situation, making it necessary for well-meaning individuals and organizations to extend support to those in need.

She explained that the food packages were specifically distributed to persons with disabilities and other less privileged families to enable them celebrate the Sallah season with dignity, joy, and a sense of belonging.

Ambassador Salima Sani also revealed that similar assistance was extended to some residents of Maraban Jos as part of the foundation’s efforts to cushion the effects of hardship on vulnerable communities.

She noted that Arridah Relief Foundation has remained committed for many years to supporting the poor, widows, orphans, and people living with disabilities through various humanitarian interventions.

Also speaking, the Secretary of the foundation, Ibrahim Mohammed Salafi, said the organization remains dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance to vulnerable citizens across Northern Nigeria.

He added that the foundation has positively touched the lives of hundreds of people through its charity and community support programmes.

He called on Nigerians to continue praying for peace, unity, and stability in the country, stressing that collective support and compassion are needed now more than ever.

Speaking on behalf of the Joint Association of Physically Challenged Persons, Comrade Nasiru Mohammed Adamu, who is also the leader of persons living with spinal cord challenges in Kaduna State, expressed appreciation to the foundation for remembering them during the festive season.

He described the intervention as timely, especially considering the current economic difficulties facing many families, adding that the organization has consistently supported vulnerable persons over the years during important celebrations like Sallah
