The Kaduna State Climate Change Accountability Mechanism (KADCCAM) and the Safety Awareness and Environmental Support Initiative (SAESI) have urged residents of Kaduna State to remain at home and clean their surroundings during the monthly environmental sanitation exercise scheduled for tomorrow.
Recalled that every last Saturday of the month is dedicated for monthly environmental sanitation exercise in the state
In a joint statement, the two organizations that are both committed and dedicated towards environmental protection announced the upcoming exercise.
The Co-Chair of KADCCAM, Comrade Ibrahima Yakubu, and the Controller General of Safety (CGS) of SAESI, Yahaya Muhammed, reminded residents about the end-of-month sanitation activity scadule to take place tomorrow
The exercise will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
They encouraged citizens to participate actively by cleaning their homes and surroundings, emphasizing the importance of environmental hygiene and patriotism in supporting government efforts.
They also noted that Kano, Plateau, and other neighboring states will be conducting similar sanitation exercises tomorrow
