Hassan Hamisu Bello, is a young and innovative entrepreneur from Kaduna State, who is making remarkable contributions to environmental sustainability by transforming millions of industrial waste materials into useful, eco-friendly products. Materials that would otherwise contaminate the environment are repurposed into everyday essentials such as face masks, handkerchiefs, wallets, waist belts, bow ties, and more.

A graduat From University who abondoned white- colar job , and create his own company .He is the founder of Eco-Stitch Textile Transformation, a recycling company based in Kaduna State, Northwestern Nigeria, dedicated to reducing textile waste through creative reuse and sustainable production.
Through his initiative, Hassan plans to expand production to include punching bags, insulation panels, fiber boards, pillows, mattresses, book covers made from Ankara and denim, long ties, tablet cases, laptop sleeves, and other innovative products—all created from discarded fabric waste.
At a time when industrial waste poses serious threats to public health, flooding, and environmental degradation, Hassan has chosen to turn waste into opportunity. By creatively repurposing discarded textiles, he significantly reduces pollution while promoting responsible waste management and sustainable living within his community.

In addition to recycling, Hassan is a skilled tailor who produces high-quality clothing from reused and recycled fabrics. This approach not only minimizes textile waste but also offers affordable, environmentally friendly fashion options, demonstrating that sustainability and economic empowerment can coexist.
Hassan’s work highlights the vital role young people can play in addressing environmental challenges through innovation and entrepreneurship. His initiative stands as a powerful example of how locally driven solutions can contribute to climate action, environmental conservation, and sustainable development, while encouraging society to view waste as a valuable resource rather than a liability.

During a visit to the recycling facility, the Head of Communication and Strategies at African Climate Reporters praised Eco-Stitch Textile Transformation for its commitment to environmental protection and its efforts to combat waste-related challenges such as flooding. Ibrahima Yakubu commended Mallam Hassan for taking a bold and impactful step toward providing sustainable solutions to environmental problems.
