In a heartwarming message of congratulations, Northern Nigerian Christian leaders have commended the Hausa Service of Radio France Internationale on its 17th anniversary.
The National President of the Peace Revival and Reconciliation Foundation of Nigeria (PRRFON), Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru, praised the Hausa Service for its unwavering dedication to humanity.while stressing that Over the past 17 years, this service has significantly impacted the lives of millions in Northern Nigeria and across Africa.
In a press statement, Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru, who is also the General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry, highlighted the profound educational influence the Hausa Service has had on Hausa-speaking communities throughout the continent. He applauded their commitment to humanitarian services.
He noted, “Across African countries, the radio station has remained one of the best broadcast stations on the continent impacting on lives of millions of listeners .”

Adding that during christmas and easter celebration, including sallah, the radio station always aired both muslims and christians festivities to sthrenthens peaceful co-existance and religion tolerance
Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru extended his heartfelt congratulations to the entire staff and management of the station. “We congratulate you for your total devotion to educating the masses of Africa on local and international news,” he said.
Special prayers were offered for the continued success of the Hausa Service and for the souls of two staff members who passed away some years ago, including the late Mallam Garba Zaria. “May their souls rest in peace,” he prayed.
Similarly, Pastor George John commended Radio France for its commitment to service and expressed gratitude to the French government for establishing a service that educates millions of Africans in the Hausa language.
