Easter 2022: Muslim felicitates with Christians world -wide, calls for ceaseless prayer for peace stability.

While reiterating the need to sustain the peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria

An international interfaith specialist and Ambassador of peace , Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani has felicitated with millions of Christians world wide, as they began the celebration of Easter

She urged them to use the holy week through praying for peace and stability in the country .

Adding that “as you begin Easter celebration from Good Friday to Easter Monday, I urge you to use the holy weekend to pray for peace and stability in the country for God to bring an end to the insecurity challenged bedevilling peace stability in the country.

While congratulating Christians the world over for successful completion of 40 days’ prayers and fasting since the beginning of the Lenten Season, she equally appealed to all Christian clerics to pray hard for God to end kidnapping, banditry, killing and general insecurity challenges that are causing more and more problems to the masses.

Ramatu, who is specialist in conflict prevention also the founder of ‘Foundation for The Protection of Women and Children in Nigeria,’ appealed for prayers to God to halt the spread of Corona-virus and other tropical diseases that are capable of threatening the existence of human beings on earth.

Additionally, she called on Christian leaders to pray for Nigeria Army on peace missions, while calling on other Muslim scholars to offer special prayers for security men and para-military that are at the battle ground fighting Boko Haram and bandits so that they could succeed in all their operations.

Similarly lmam Muhammad salisu kaduna said he has started sending his congratulatory messages to all his Christian brothers and other clerics.

He said, every year, Pastor Yohanna Buru usually send him Sallah messages,

, adding that, “We must join hands towards making Nigeria a better place through prayers.”

Meanwhile, Mallam Gambo Abdullahi Barnawa Kaduna, another Muslim youth leader, congratulated Christians on Easter and urged them to use lessons learnt during the Lenten period towards promoting peace, unity and forgiveness.

He mentioned that, during the Lenten season, some Muslims where able to go and join Christians in breaking the Lenten fasting, in order to strengthen peaceful co-existence, religious tolerance and better understanding between Muslims and Christians.

Mallam Gambo said, every year, he usually send over 200 SMS texts to all his friends and colleagues that were Christians, in order to foster peace and to show to his younger ones that, “Peace and unity is what we need in Nigeria.”
