The Kaduna State Roller Sports Association held a strategic meeting at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Kaduna State, bringing together coaches, officials, and key stakeholders from various local government areas across the state.
According to the Kaduna State Skating Coordinator, Coach Kabir Abdulrahman, the meeting focused on strengthening the development of roller sports in Kaduna State through improved collaboration, grassroots talent identification, and better planning for future activities.
Coach Abdulrahman stated that the gathering provided an opportunity for coaches and stakeholders to discuss strategies for promoting the sport, addressing challenges, and creating a unified approach to developing athletes across the state.
A major highlight of the meeting was the preparation for the upcoming Roller Sports Championship in Kano State. Participants reviewed training plans, team selection processes, and other logistical arrangements to ensure Kaduna State is well represented at the championship.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to work together in advancing roller sports in Kaduna State and providing greater opportunities for young athletes to excel at both state and national levels
