FIDA Kaduna acknowledges the immense potential, rights, and talents of girls everywhere. Girls are not only the leaders of tomorrow, but also a vital force shaping the world today. Together, we must build a society where every girl enjoys equal access to quality education, healthcare, opportunities, and empowerment to reach her full potential.

The girl child is an essential part of our society, deserving of equal rights and opportunities. Investing in girls’ education, health, and well-being is a powerful strategy for breaking the cycle of poverty, promoting economic growth, and achieving social justice and equality.

Call to Action
As we mark this year’s International Day of the Girl Child, FIDA Kaduna calls on the government, private sector, civil society, and individuals to move beyond annual celebrations and take concrete, sustained actions that empower girls to thrive.

Let us work collectively to eliminate barriers, challenge harmful stereotypes, and create environments that foster confidence, courage, and resilience among girls.

Together, we can raise a generation of empowered girls who will contribute meaningfully to the peace, progress, and prosperity of our nation, Nigeria.
