In a continued effort to promote environmental awareness and nurture the next generation of environmental stewards, the Gombe Goes Green (3G) Taskforce, through its Young Foresters Programme, has donated over 50 tree protectors to Government Day Secondary School Alhamdu, Gombe.
The presentation was led by Muazu Abubakar, Special Adviser to the Governor on Environment and Ecology, alongside Alhaji Abdu, Co-Secretary of the 3G Taskforce. The school principal and students were present and expressed profound gratitude for the gesture.

Through initiatives like the Young Foresters Programme, schools are becoming important partners in building a culture of tree care, environmental responsibility and sustainability.
This initiative aligns with the green vision of His Excellency, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya Dan Majen Gombe the Green Governor, whose Gombe Goes Green initiative continues to create opportunities for environmental education and community participation.
The future of a greener Gombe begins with today’s young people.
