The General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry, Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru, led a delegation of Christian clerics and scholars on a condolence visit to the family of the Muslim woman who was lynched in Kaduna State.

Speaking during the visit, Pastor Buru expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident and extended the heartfelt condolences of the Christian community to the bereaved family.
He condemned the killing, stating that every human life is sacred and that no religion condones violence or the unlawful taking of innocent lives.
He called on Nigerians, regardless of their religious or ethnic background, to embrace peace, love, forgiveness, and mutual respect.
According to him, peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance are essential for national unity and development.
He urged religious leaders to continue preaching compassion, understanding, and dialogue, while encouraging young people to reject hatred, violence, and mob justice.
Pastor Buru also appealed to security agencies and relevant authorities to ensure that justice is served through lawful means, while calling on communities to remain calm and avoid actions that could further increase tensions.
He emphasized that Christians and Muslims have lived together as neighbors for generations and should continue to strengthen the bonds of friendship, cooperation, and respect.
He urged all Nigerians to stand together in promoting peace, protecting human dignity, and building a society where differences in faith are respected and celebrated.
The family expressed appreciation for the visit and the message of solidarity, describing it as a meaningful gesture of compassion and interfaith unity during their time of grief.
