The National Association of Horticulture Farmers, Unity and Development, Kaduna State chapter, has congratulated Governor Uba Sani over the peaceful and successful conduct of the recent by-election.
The Public Relations Officer of the association, Mallam Lawal Shu’aibu, made this known in a press chat with journalists in Kaduna.

He commended the governor for ensuring peace before, during, and after the exercise, which was held over the weekend. Mallam Lawal also urged the newly elected candidates to contribute their quota towards improving the lives of the people who entrusted them with their votes.
Speaking on the association’s efforts, he disclosed that horticulturists in the state have donated and planted thousands of trees across Kaduna as part of their commitment to environmental sustainability. He stressed that their goal is to make Kaduna a model state in terms of “going green.”
According to him, the association will continue to support the administration of Governor Uba Sani in the fight against desertification, deforestation, global warming, and other forms of environmental degradation through tree-planting campaigns.
Mallam Lawal further revealed that the association is working in collaboration with stakeholders across the state to promote environmental protection. He praised the government for reintroducing the monthly environmental sanitation exercise, describing it as a step that will help reduce challenges affecting humans, animals, and other living organisms.

He also thanked the people of Kaduna State for coming out en masse to vote for candidates of their choice.
