When clamour for a shift in position and or leadership persist within intra and inter political platforms, it tells in clear terms of the ineffectiveness or not been able to be responsive to the primary needs of the led by the leader(s). For a while electorates in Nigeria have patiently lie in wait to exude a sigh of relief from the immediate past and present government to no avail. Thus the clamour for shift is a collective interest.
According to the Convener of PDP StrongHold, Mr Bernard Musa That, in a press statement made available to us, he said “when Nigerians run the rope to replace People’s Democratic Party at the center of Nigeria governance, it was in anticipation of a bit better affordable life than what was obtainable then. Unfortunately for us, the reverse remains our reality.
The group however aligned with the position of the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Dr. Bala Muhammad for calm, reconciliation in the Party’s internal crisis. It is a unique step taken by the governor and if backed by Nigerians that thirst for, and are in search of good governance, it will no doubt bring relief and unify the country in the best possible way that befits us.
“Concessions and sacrifices has to be made and surely will be made in other to shift the country to where it ought to have been as it relates to leadership and governance in it’s true sense”. These are the words of the secretary of PDP StrongHold, Zailani AJ Musa. Nigerians cannot yet again miss a glorious opportunity to right our wrongs when we went in search of what was not come.
While appreciating the efforts of People’s Democratic Party at all levels for working within and around knitting the Party and salvaging the country, caution must be applied so as not to inflict harm, instead of good. Nigeria electorates hope and trust PDP to sail the country to safety as the current economy is bitting hard.
