The Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of National Board for Arabic And Islamic Studies (NBAIS) Professor Yahuza Suleiman Imam has extended condolences to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Uba Sani, the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamali, Iyan Zazzau and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr Tajudeen Abbas, as well as the entire people of Zazzau Emirate over the tragedy that befell some worshipers observing Asar Prayer inside the historic Zaria Central Mosque last Friday which claimed 12 lives…
Reacting to the tragedy, Professor Yahuza described it as sad, pathetic, and a great loss to Zazzau emirate, Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.
According to Prof. Yahuza, the unfortunate event has created a vacuum that no one can fill, especially to the families of the deceased.
He prayed to Allah to forgive their shortcomings, accept them as martyrs and grant them Aljannatul Firdaus.
To the families of the deceased, the NBAIS Chief Executive Officer, on behalf of the Management and Staff, prayed to Allah to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of their loved ones.
