The Director General of the Nigerian Institute for Transport Technology (NITT) Zaria Dr. Bayero Salih Farah says the institute will provide a leading role in putting Nigerian’s transport and logistics sector in it’s rightful place in the global space.
Salih Fatah who stated this during an interactive session with Journalists in his office said, already National Diploma on Transport and Logistics Management, National Innovation Diploma in Shipping Management has commenced.
According to him, the Six geopolitical zones institute outreach learning centres has commenced Certificate in Transport and Logistics (CTL), Diploma in Transport and Logistics,(CTL) and Postgraduate Diploma in Transport and Logistics (PGDTL).
The D/G said all the programmes runs by the institute are tired with the vision of becoming an internationally recognised Center of Excellence.
He added that the expanded programmes and upgraded curriculum of the Institute has matched with the global standard.
Speaking further, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah says NITT was established to bridged some gaps in the transport and logistics sector of the economy, stressing that the institute has provided numerous experts to bridge capacity gaps.
On the infrastructural development the D/G said, the unique transformation in the institute would open doors for more patronage.
“The transport Technology Centre was equipped with modern equipment and tools that was designed to enable the institute to achieve it’s mandate effectively.
