Few weeks to the commencement of 2023 general elections, the National president peace revival and reconciliation foundation of Nigeria pastor yohanna buru has Flag- up peace campaigns among Nigerian youths at various sport field and football View centers with the aims of using sport to promote peace and unity among Nigerians
Stressing that Sport can be a powerful tool for building peace and interreligious tolerance to sthrenthening Christian and Muslims relationship in the country.
According to him its became imperative to visit all the sportive event centers and football View centers to meet and interact with various stakeholders on the need to strengthen peace and and unity among Nigerians through sports to maintain peace.
This year 2023 general elections comes amids of insecurity collapsed, high cost of living, scarcity of naira note, fuel scarcity and climate change.
Buru said, they are going to used sport to promote peace and unity among Nigerians irrespective of tribe, culture and ethnicity to mitigate conflicts before, during and after the 2023 general elections.
