On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Management, and beneficiaries of the Ashafa Relief Foundation (ARF), we are pleased to formally invite you and your colleagues from the Media Forum to the commissioning of the Ashafa Peace Academy (100-Per-Day Charity School), alongside the Free Skills Acquisition and Economic Empowerment Graduation Ceremony.
Ashafa Peace Academy was established as part of ARF’s commitment to expanding access to inclusive, affordable, and quality education for vulnerable children, while nurturing values of peace, tolerance, and responsible citizenship. The academy operates as a charity school to support families who otherwise cannot afford formal education for their children.
In addition, the event will celebrate the graduation of over 600 trainees who have successfully completed various vocational and skills-based training programmes under ARF’s Free Skills Acquisition and Economic Empowerment initiative. These programmes are designed to promote self-reliance, poverty reduction, and sustainable livelihoods among youth and women in Kaduna State.
The Ashafa Relief Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian organisation founded by Imam Dr. Muhammad Nurayn Ashafa, recipient of the 2025 Commonwealth Peace Prize Award (London, UK). Since its establishment in 2000, ARF has remained dedicated to improving the quality of life of vulnerable Nigerians through formal and informal education, free intensive one-year Qur’an memorisation, medical aid, food bank interventions, moral support, and economic empowerment. To date, ARF has implemented over 100 community projects, positively impacting thousands of lives across Nigeria.
