The Arewa Cohesion for Peace, Unity and Development Initiative has congratulated Alhaji Aminu Yakubu Wambai on his 25 years of service to Zazzau Emirate.
In a statement issued on Monday, 22nd June 2026, the Director General of the Initiative, Dr. Abdullahi Idris, described the milestone as a remarkable journey of commitment, service, and unwavering dedication to the development of Zazzau Emirate and the broader Arewa region.
Dr. Idris recalled with deep appreciation the positive and enduring role Alhaji Wambai has played in the evolution and growth of ACI, noting that his consistent support, wise counsel, and active participation have significantly contributed to strengthening the Initiativeโs vision for peace, unity, and sustainable development across Northern Nigeria.
He further highlighted Alhaji Wambaiโs deep passion for the advancement of Arewa, emphasizing that his leadership has always reflected a strong commitment to the progress, stability, and welfare of the people. According to him, the celebrant has remained a voice of reason and a pillar of support in efforts aimed at promoting harmony and development within the region.
The statement also commended his use of traditional authority to further the cause of development in Arewa, noting that through his esteemed position as Wakilin Raya Kasar Zazzau, he has continued to bridge traditional leadership with modern developmental needs.
His role has consistently supported initiatives that promote youth empowerment, community engagement, and cultural preservation.
Dr. Idris equally acknowledged Alhaji Wambaiโs outstanding contributions to the development of Zazzau Emirate and the traditional institution at large.
He described him as a respected custodian of culture whose influence within the Emirate Council has helped strengthen unity, enhance administrative effectiveness, and preserve the dignity of traditional leadership.
He concluded by praying for Allahโs continued guidance, good health, long life, and prosperity for Alhaji Aminu Yakubu Wambai as he continues to serve the Zazzau Emirate and the entire Arewa region with dedication and honor.
