Admaju Girl Child Initiative Donates Sanitary Materials, Food Items to Kaduna Orphanage
The Founder of the Admaju Girl Child Initiative (AGCI), Ambassador Juliana D. Danjuma, has led a humanitarian outreach to Great Zion Orphanage Home located in Kamazou/Bagado, Kaduna State.
The visit brought joy to the residents, particularly teenage girls, as the organization donated sanitary pads and other essential items while also conducting an interactive session on personal hygiene and menstrual health.

According to the orphanage management, there was a need for additional support beyond sanitary materials. In response, the initiative provided several items including tomatoes, onions, Maggi seasoning cubes, dry pepper, and corn for the younger children.
A health education session was facilitated by Mrs. Ruben, a nurse, who spoke extensively on hygiene and menstruation. The session included practical demonstrations on the proper use of sanitary pads, aimed at improving the girls’ health awareness and confidence.

Speaking during the visit, Ambassador Danjuma advised the children to maintain good behavior and encouraged unity among them. She urged the older girls to support and care for the younger ones, while also commending the orphanage administrators for their coordination efforts.
She further emphasized the importance of love, guidance, and open communication between caregivers and the children to foster a supportive environment.

The outreach aligns with the organization’s mission, captured in its motto: “Empower the Girl Child, Empower the Nation.”
