Mallam Ali Mohammad Agadez, National President of Tuareg Residents in Nigeria, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Muslims across Nigeria and around the world on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a goodwill message to mark Eid al-Fitr, Mallam Agadez commended the Muslim Ummah for their steadfast devotion to fasting, prayers, and spiritual reflection throughout the past 30 days.

He described Ramadan as a sacred period that strengthens faith through acts of worship, particularly night prayers and the recitation of the Holy Qur’an.

“Today, I warmly congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters in Nigeria and in the diaspora. The completion of Ramadan is not only a spiritual achievement but also a reminder of the values that bind us together as one people,” he said.

He emphasized that the lessons of Ramadan ,piety, selflessness, patience, kindness, and compassion—must go beyond the holy month and be reflected in everyday life, especially in how citizens relate to one another.

At a time when Africa faces social and security challenges, Mallam Agadez called for renewed commitment to peace and unity across religious and ethnic lines.

He urged Nigerians to embrace tolerance, mutual respect, and dialogue as essential tools for building a stable and harmonious society.

“Eid is not just a celebration; it is a moment to strengthen the bonds that unite us. We must reject division, promote understanding, and work together as one nation regardless of our differences,” he added.

He further encouraged Muslims and all Nigerians to extend hands of kindness and generosity to the less privileged, irrespective of faith or background, noting that true worship is reflected in service to humanity.

Mallam Agadez also called on religious leaders and citizens to continue offering prayers for lasting peace, unity, and prosperity in Nigeria, stressing that national progress can only be achieved in an atmosphere of stability and collective responsibility.

“As we celebrate this blessed occasion, let us recommit ourselves to the ideals of peace, justice, and unity. Let us be ambassadors of harmony in our communities and work towards a Nigeria where every citizen feels safe, valued, and included,” he said.

He concluded by wishing all Muslims a peaceful, joyful, and fulfilling Eid celebration, urging everyone to celebrate with moderation and a deep sense of gratitude.

Eid Mubarak. May peace, unity, and blessings continue to guide our nation.
