Official Presentation of Otun Akinrogun Yoruba Zazzau to Emir of Zazzau: Hon. Chief Isyaka Shittu Dayo Pledges Commitment to Kaduna’s Development
In a historic and prestigious event, the Oba Yoruba Zazzau,
His Royal Majesty Oba Alh. (Barr.) Ishak Bello, officially presented the newly installed Otun Akinrogun Yoruba Zazzau, Hon. Chief Isyaka Shittu Dayo, to the Emir of Zazzau, His Highness Alh. (Amb.) Nuhu Ahmed Bamalli.
The ceremony, which took place at the Emir’s palace in Zaria, marked a moment of unity and recognition of Hon. Chief Isyaka Shittu Dayo’s contributions to society. The Oba expressed his confidence in the leadership and commitment of the new Otun Akinrogun, highlighting his dedication to community development, youth empowerment, and good governance.
In his remarks, Hon. Chief Isyaka Shittu Dayo expressed profound gratitude to the Oba Yoruba Zazzau for bestowing upon him this esteemed traditional title. He also extended his sincere appreciation to the Emir of Zazzau for the royal recognition and warm reception.
“I am deeply honored by this title and the recognition it brings. This is not just a title to me but a call to greater service. I pledge my unwavering commitment to the progress and development of Kaduna State, ensuring that my efforts contribute to the prosperity of our people,” he stated.
The event further strengthened the bond between the Yoruba community in Zazzau and the Emirate, reinforcing the spirit of inclusivity and collaboration for regional development.
